Capturing Nicole and Daniel’s wedding at the Ashbourne Hotel in North Killingholme, Immingham was an absolute pleasure! This was my second time photographing a wedding at this venue, and once again, I was impressed by the seamless service and stunning surroundings. The staff at Ashbourne Hotel are incredibly welcoming and efficient, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. A special shout-out to Rob, who is exceptionally organised—his team transformed the room from the ceremony to the reception in record time!
The classic and grand décor of the venue creates the perfect backdrop for elegant wedding photography. The attention to detail in the decorations made every shot look timeless and romantic. And let’s not forget the food! As wedding photographers, we’re always grateful when the couple provides us with a hot meal after a long day of shooting. This time, we were treated to a delicious hot plate—and to top it off, we even got sticky toffee pudding as an extra treat! Given our early starts, having a warm meal makes all the difference in keeping us energised throughout the day.
Golden Hour Magic at Ashbourne Hotel
One of the highlights of the day was the stunning garden area at Ashbourne Hotel, which provided the perfect setting for reception drinks, especially on a warm day like this. After the wedding breakfast, we were incredibly lucky to witness a breathtaking sunset, casting a golden light over the newlyweds. This magical moment allowed us to capture some truly beautiful sunset portraits of Nicole and Daniel, creating memories they will cherish forever.
